Legionella risk assessments

Legionella risk assessments are required by law (see your legal duties). They are a statutory requirement under the Health and safety at Work Act 1974 amongst others.
A Legionella risk assessment is a fundamental step in protecting your employees and the general public from exposure to contracting Legionnaires' disease.
A Legionella risk assessment should be reviewed every two years or following a system change and should include a schematic drawing of the system.
A qualified risk assessor will work through the entire system, checking all assets (cold water storage tanks, hot water storage vessels and system pipework etc) and outline the current condition of the water and determine the work risk rate of the system based on its condition and operational functionality.
