Heart of Tamworth

Heart of Tamworth are a charity working with people living in Tamworth and surrounding areas.
You may not have heard of them, even if you have they are constantly evolving. Their role continues to grow as they meet the needs of the community they support.
As a community charity they have to be flexible, responding to meet changing social situations.
There have been plenty of those.
Your first experience might be enjoying their wonderful café or visiting our community pantry
(soon to be redeveloped). But behind the scenes, many other invaluable services are being provided.
Currently, they now deliver practical support to people experiencing ill health, addiction, bereavement, homelessness, financial worries and loneliness.
They work with people of all ages...children and teenagers to older people.
Some services are delivered directly by the HOT Team, others by working with partners.
Their community facilities, made available by the parish, are a great base offering space for support services, social groups, a community café and community pantry.
